Introduction of stainless steel bearings and application

The stainless steel bearings can be selected relatively according to different working conditions when the ordinary bearings cannot meet the requirements. They can work in the corrosive mediums such as in seawater, river water, distilled water, dilute nitric acid, maritime climate, vapour etc. They can resist hotness and perform between minus 253 degrees centigrade and 350 degrees centigrade.

Materials of stainless steel bearings

The materials used by Jinan Shenglei Bearing Co., Ltd. to manufacture the stainless steel bearings usually include SUS440C, SUS304, SUS316, SUS316L etc. SUS440C is the Martensite Stainless Steel while SUS304, SUS316L is the Austenite Stainless Steel which is inferior in hardness since it cannot be quenched. This kind of bearings can only be utilized under the conditions of low speed and small capacity load. The Austenite Stainless Steel is nonmagnetic and resistant to corrosion.
